This course examines the role of economic policy in the European context today. After reflecting on the origins of economic policy in Europe, we track the evolution, development and current role of economic policy in all its dimensions. Economic policy evaluation, including tradition and novel citizen-centred approaches, are introduced, analysed and critiqued.
