Major research projects
GREENPATHS
I am PI of GREENPATHS, an ambitious project that will improve the design, governance and implementation of policy strategies and instruments. The project pays particular attention to the European Green Deal, the Fit for 55 package, and the actions funded by the Just Transition Fund and the European Social Fund+. Horizon Europe 3 M 2023-26.
REALIGNING THE EUROPEAN FINANCIAL ARCHITECTURE FOR THE C21 (REFA-21)
This project focuses on the main public development banks operating within the European Financial Architecture, particularly, focusing on overlapping lending by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Though these overlaps have been assumed to cause inefficiencies, little is actually known about their geographic reach, evolution and the extent to which they are coordinated. The project created a database of overlapping lending, analysing its evolution, and conducted semi-structured interviews with EIB and EBRD officials to understand the extent to which coordination is occurring, with a view to make policy recommendations for a stronger European Financial Architecture for the next critical decades. The research was funded by the FNR (Intermobility-In Fellowship at University of Luxembourg).

CITADEL
